There’s something so special about photographing a couple who are in the middle of an exciting new chapter and Nefertiti and Kent are absolutely in that season of life.

For their engagement session, we spent time together at Robert Moses, capturing the two of them against the beautiful coastal backdrop. From the quiet, intimate moments to the laughter and genuine connection between them, their session felt effortless and completely true to who they are as a couple.

A couple embraces lovingly on a dirt path beside tall ornamental grasses on an overcast afternoon.

But their love story began with an unforgettable proposal.

Kent proposed to Nefertiti at an art museum in Philadelphia. A setting that made the moment even more meaningful and romantic. Now, with their engagement behind them and their wedding day on the horizon, the next chapter is taking them somewhere truly beautiful: Jamaica, this March.

Photographing their engagement session was a chance to celebrate everything that brought them to this moment while giving them images that reflect the excitement of what’s ahead. I loved capturing the way Kent and Nefertiti naturally interact. The little glances, the laughter, the closeness, and all those in between moments that tell their story without needing words.

A romantic proposal scene set between rows of grapevines in a scenic vineyard with white flowers and a blanket.

And knowing that these photos are just the beginning makes this session even more special. Soon, their story will continue in Jamaica, surrounded by the beauty, warmth, and joy of their wedding celebration.

Nefertiti and Kent, thank you for trusting me to document this season of your lives. I’m so excited for everything that’s ahead for you both and I can’t wait to see this beautiful love story continue in Jamaica. ❤️
