One of the things I value most about building an incredible associate team is knowing that my couples are always in amazing hands. Even on one of the biggest weekends of my own life.
The same weekend that Amanda and Logan celebrated their wedding at Danfords in Port Jefferson, I had the honor of standing beside my cousin as her Matron of Honor on her wedding day. It was a weekend filled with so much love, family, and celebration, and thanks to my amazing team, I didn't have to choose between the two.
The day before heading to my cousin's rehearsal dinner, I had the opportunity to personally photograph Amanda and Logan's intimate church ceremony. It was so special to spend that meaningful part of their wedding weekend with them, capturing the emotion as they exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest family and friends.
When it came time for their celebration at Danfords, my incredible associate team took over seamlessly. Stephanie, my lead associate photographer, was joined by Heather as second photographer, and together they documented every moment of Amanda and Logan's wedding day with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail that Amy Leigh Photography is known for.
From the excitement of getting ready to the waterfront portraits along Port Jefferson Harbor, every part of their day reflected the joy these two share. Danfords provided the perfect backdrop with its beautiful marina views, elegant reception space, and timeless Long Island charm.
One of the things I love most about my associate team is that while they are the ones behind the camera on the wedding day, every couple still receives the full Amy Leigh Photography experience. I remain involved throughout the planning process, help create the wedding day timeline, coordinate with my team, and personally edit every image that is delivered. This ensures each gallery reflects the style and quality my couples expect when they book with me.
