Some proposals are filled with surprises. Ryan and Anneliese's proposal at Prime in Huntington was filled with even more than one.

Ryan carefully planned the perfect evening overlooking the water at one of Long Island's most popular waterfront restaurants. As the two of them enjoyed the beautiful setting, Anneliese had no idea that one of the biggest moments of her life was just minutes away.

A romantic proposal scene set between rows of grapevines in a scenic vineyard with white flowers and a blanket.

With the harbor as the backdrop, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Anneliese to marry him.

The answer was an immediate yes.

As emotional as that moment was, the surprises weren't over yet.

Shortly after the proposal, Anneliese turned around to discover that her family had been waiting nearby the entire time, eager to celebrate with the newly engaged couple. The look of shock and excitement on her face was priceless. There were hugs, happy tears, and so much joy as everyone gathered together to celebrate.

But Ryan had one more surprise planned.

Some of Anneliese's closest friends had secretly flown in from out of state just to be there for this special occasion. Seeing her realize that they were standing there waiting for her was one of my favorite moments of the entire evening. It was a reminder that proposals aren't just about two people. They're about bringing together the people who love and support them as they begin a new chapter.

As a Long Island proposal photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing some incredible moments, and this one was truly unforgettable. From the waterfront views at Prime to the emotional reactions from family and friends, every part of the evening felt meaningful and intentional.

Ryan put so much thought into creating an experience that Anneliese would never forget, and it was an honor to document every second of it.

Ryan and Anneliese, congratulations on your engagement. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such an incredible day. I can't wait to see where this next chapter takes you both.
