There’s something so special about being part of a moment that two people will remember for the rest of their lives, and Noel and Shelby’s proposal was one for the books!
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Noel as he planned the perfect surprise proposal for Shelby aboard a beautiful boat with Sail Hamptons.
Their adventure began in Sag Harbor, where we set sail along the stunning coastline of Shelter Island. With the water stretching out around them and the peaceful beauty of the Hamptons as their backdrop, it was the perfect setting for such a meaningful moment.
As they enjoyed their time on the water surrounded by Shelby’s family, Noel chose the perfect moment to pop the question. With her favorite people right there to witness it all, Shelby got to experience a surprise she’ll never forget! The excitement, happy tears, and genuine joy made this proposal extra special.
One of my favorite things about photographing proposals is getting to capture the moment someone realizes what’s happening, followed by all the hugs, happy tears, and celebrations that come afterward. Having family there to share in the excitement makes those memories even more meaningful.
Noel and Shelby, congratulations on this exciting next chapter! Thank you for letting me be part of such a beautiful day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, adventure, and unforgettable memories together!
