There are some couples who you meet and immediately feel like you’ve known them forever and Matt and Michelle are exactly that kind of couple. Their wedding day was filled with so much laughter, love, and genuine joy, and it was such an honor to be there to capture it all.
Their day began with a beautiful ceremony at a church in East Northport, where Matt and Michelle officially became husband and wife surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. There was something so special about watching the two of them take in the moment and realize that after all the planning, the big day was finally here.
And then it was time to PARTY! 🎉
After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington for the reception. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from these two—fun, energetic, and full of personality. From the moment cocktail hour began, there were smiles everywhere, and once the dance floor opened, their guests were ready to celebrate!
One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is getting to see all of the little moments that make each couple’s story unique. With Matt and Michelle, there was no shortage of those moments. The laughs, the hugs, the happy tears, the crazy dance moves, and all of the in-between moments came together to create a day that felt completely them.
And this wedding was extra special for me for a fun personal reason—Matt actually works with my uncle! It’s always such a small-world moment when someone you know becomes connected to your wedding world, and I loved getting to photograph such an important day for someone who already had a connection to my family.
Matt and Michelle, thank you for trusting me to document your wedding day. You two are genuinely the sweetest, and your happiness was completely contagious. I hope you look back at these photos years from now and can instantly feel all of the love, laughter, and excitement that filled your day.
